Song of Eternity for Solo Euphonium (or Baritone/Trombone) and Piano

A$20.00

Song of Eternity - Euphonium (or Baritone/Trombone) Solo

Solo music in Treble Clef Bb and Bass Clef C.

Song of Eternity, originally a work for Euphonium and Brass Band, was written in 2012. It is inspired by a night looking at the stars, and imagining the impossible size and beauty of the universe. A humbling idea becomes a humble melody, reflecting on the eternal nature of the night sky, and a peace of mind that comes with the knowledge that we are so small in such a huge existence.

The solo euphonium has a lyrical melody that allows the performer to demonstrate great sound and great musicality, with some high tessitura occasionally surfacing, making this work ideal for euphonium soloists of many different levels. The piano accompaniment is warm, rich and elegant in its simplicity.
